About The AI Factor

AI is reshaping South African work, institutions, and daily life. Most of the conversation about it is happening overseas, in boardrooms, or in marketing copy from people selling something.

The AI Factor is here to change that. We report, broadcast, convene, and carry the public's voice, so South Africans can choose the future they want from this technology rather than just reacting to where it lands.

The conversation here is open to everyone with skin in the game: citizens, civil society, educators, labour, business, government, and the companies building AI itself. The AI industry is welcome to join in – but never to pitch, never to whitewash. Only serious conversations.
