Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use The AI Factor: the website, the newsletter, and the public services connected to them.

Using the service

The site is here for personal, editorial, educational, and professional use, within the law. Please don't interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit abusive content, or use the service in ways that harm other people or systems.

Newsletter subscriptions

Subscriptions require an email address you control. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter. We may pause or remove subscriptions to protect deliverability, security, or legal compliance.

Content and editorial independence

Content on The AI Factor is for general information and public discussion. It is not legal, financial, investment, medical, or other professional advice. We aim for accuracy, but cannot guarantee that every item is complete, current, or error-free.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the site design, branding, original writing, and compiled materials belong to The AI Factor or its licensors. You can link to public pages and quote short excerpts with clear attribution. Reproducing substantial parts of the service requires permission.

Third-party links and services

The site and newsletters sometimes link to third-party websites, research, products, or services. Those third parties are responsible for their own content, security, and privacy practices.

Changes and availability

We may update the site, the newsletter, these terms, or related services from time to time. We may also suspend or discontinue parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product changes.

Liability

To the extent allowed by South African law, The AI Factor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot legally be limited.
